The duo were brought before a magistrate’s court in Kuala Lumpur today and were charged with attempting to sabotage the country's banking and financial services sector.
Dressed in orange lock-up jumpsuits, they entered the courtroom with smiles and raised their handcuffed hands.
"We will fight Najib till the end. I will make sure Najib's hands are in handcuffs," Khairuddin told his cheering supporters.
"We refused to change (our clothes). We are innocent till proven guilty," Chang added.
Chang, who said his hunger strike has entered the fifth day, appeared to be in good health.
They were charged under Section 124L of the Penal Code for attempting to sabotage the country's banking and financial services sector.
