Opposition Leader Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail will file the motion of no- confidence against Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak although it may not see the light of day during this parliamentary session.

"We have met the speaker (Pandikar Amin Mulia) and discussed the matter in a very amicable environment.

"I will file the motion at an appropriate time," she said at the Parliament lobby after meeting with the speaker.

Earlier today, Pandikar had said he may not entertain the motion for this parliamentary session which ends on Dec 3 as the motion brought under section 26 of standing order needs to be filed 14 days before the current session commenced.

Wan Azizah (PKR- Permatang Pauh), however, said she is positive about the outcome.

"We have not come to that, we will wait and see," she said, dogding the question on whether she is prepared if the motion is not accepted for this session.

Meanwhile, Johari Abdul (PKR-Sungai Petani) confirmed that the opposition had made the decision to file the motion after meeting Pandikar.

"Whether the motion is rejected, it is another story," he added.

Boys' marble game

The same motion brought by Hee Loy Sian (PKR-Petaling Jaya Selatan) was accepted by the House and listed as item 25 in the parliamentary order paper.

This, however, wasn't accepted by Lim Guan Eng (DAP-Bagan) who said such a motion of national importance shouldn't be brought by an ordinary lawmaker.

He also said DAP will be no part of it and PKR was treating the matter like a boys' marble game ( main guli )

At its inaugural meeting yesterday, Pakatan Harapan had endorsed Wan Azizah to move a vote of no-confidence against Najib.
