A total of 440,682 students have registered to sit for the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2015 examination scheduled from Nov 2 to Dec 8, according to the Education Ministry.

It said in a statement today that 379,466 of the candidates were from government schools, government-assisted schools and government-assisted religious schools and 29,799 were private candidates. The rest were from other categories of schools, including private schools.

“The candidates will sit for the examination to be conducted at 3,501 centres nationwide. A total of 34,146 invigilators have been appointed to manage the examination as scheduled,” it said.

The ministry reminded candidates to refer to their examination timetable for the time of the examination papers as well as instructions and reminders.

The timetable has been distributed to schools and can also be downloaded from the website of the Examinations Syndicate at http://www.lp.edu.my.

“Candidates are reminded to bring along their identity card with them to the examination centres,” it said.
