The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) will meet for the first time next Monday.

Newly-minted PAC chief Hasan Arifin, however, declined to reveal what next week's proceedings will be about.

“PAC will be starting (work) next Monday.

“We already have our (agenda). We will notify you guys later,” Hasan told reporters outside Parliament today.

PAC proceedings, including the probe on 1MDB, had ground to a halt in July after then chairperson Nur Jazlan Mohamad was elevated to deputy home minister.

Four other BN lawmakers also joined the government in the cabinet reshuffle.

This prompted Dewan Rakyat speaker Pandikar Amin Mulia to suspend the PAC hearings despite the opposition insisting that there were enough members to conduct proceedings.
