An opposition lawmaker demanded Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak instruct the two 'missing' bosses of SRC International to immediately testify before the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).

In addition, Najib, in his capacity as finance minister, should revoke the positions of the two - SRC managing director Nik Faisal Ariff Kamil and director Suboh Md Yasin, said Teo Nie Ching (DAP-Kulai).

Failing to do so only means Najib condones and sanctions the uncooperative attitude of the SRC duo, who are wanted by MACC in its probe, she said at the Parliament lobby today.

MACC is investigating SRC, a former subsidiary of 1MDB and now owned by the Finance Ministry, over a RM4 billion bond sourced from the Retirement Fund Inc (KWAP).

The graft buster is also investigating the RM42 million that allegedly went into Najib's private bank accounts. It has, however, yet to question the prime minister on the matter.

The duo was earlier reported missing and Putrajaya had since issued a travel ban against them. It is believed that both are overseas.

In a parliamentary written reply last Wednesday, Najib said the SRC duo were making arrangements for the two to be interviewed by MACC.

Teo said she was appalled by the leniency showed by Najib toward Nik Faisal and Suboh.

Meanwhile, Tony Pua (DAP-Petaling Jaya Utara) questioned why there were no arrest warrants issued against the duo, pointing out the government had requested a red notice against Sarawak Report editor-in-chief Clare Rewcastle Brown.
