COMMENT On Oct 22, the Parliament speaker Pandikar Amin Mulia claimed that he did not suspend DAP parliamentary leader Lim Kit Siang - that the MPs suspended him.

Thinking Malaysians did not believe Pandikar. He must have been aware of it. As a result, he returned to the same topic to explain himself further, and differently.

Nobody believed him in the first instance, and therefore there was a need to explain this unconvincing tale twice.

Exactly a week later, on Oct 27, Pandikar claimed that Parliament punished Kit Siang - not him...
