Opposition Leader Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail has shrugged of PAS' decision not to vote against Budget 2016.
Asked if she was disappointed with PAS, Wan Azizah shrugged before telling reporters in the Parliament lobby: "That's their stand.
"But from what I heard the last time, the (PAS) whip (Takiyuddin Hassan) said otherwise. They wanted to vote against the budget with all the subsidies, but if that is PAS' stand, OK."
PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang has said the party will not vote against the budget and this stand was affirmed by Pasir Mas MP Nik Abduh Nik Aziz today.
Voting down the budget is akin to a vote of no confidence in Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak.
However Wan Azizah believes some PAS members may not personally agree with the party stand.
She hopes that when the time comes to vote on the budget, or on a motion of no confidence in Najib as prime minister, the MPs from PAS as well as BN will vote with their conscience.
"The fact is that there is discontent with the prime minister, and this will manifest itself during the motion of no confidence," Wan Azizah said.
