Former political secretary to Dr Mahathir Mohamad, Matthias Chang, complained of detention conditions where he has to share his cell with those infected with tuberculosis and HIV.

Chang said this in the dock after the High Court refused to make a decision today on whether the charge against Chang and his client, former Batu Kawan Umno deputy division chief Khairuddin Abu Hassan, ‎ falls under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012.
