The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) raided both Malaysiakini and The Star after a police report was lodged against both media organisations, said Communications and Multimedia Minister Salleh Said Keruak.

"To me, when there is any report made, action should be taken," he said when met at the lauching ceremony of GoAsean Upfront, a local travel show.
