Abdul Rahman, what about the alleged charge sheet?

YOURSAY | ‘Please have some respect for the dead. Kevin died serving the country.’

Explosive SD: 'Bad script, bad actor, good timing'

Aries46: BN strategic communications director Abdul Rahman Dahlan (ARD) must not trivialise and ridicule Charles Morais’ claims as it is insensitive and premature given that the allegations are yet to be investigated by the relevant authorities.

Since ARD deduces that the statutory declaration (SD) is timed with the Umno general assembly (to be held on Dec 8-12), pray tell us what is the motivation for Charles, a US resident, to undermine Umno or to cast aspersion on its president.

Where is the political connection?

Why is it that after almost a month of tussle for a second post-mortem and the Morais siblings' refusal to claim Kevin’s remains, it was suddenly taken from the mortuary (by youngest brother Richard) the very day that Charles filed his application.

Why did the authorities refuse a second post-mortem?

Odysseus: ARD, please have some respect for the dead. Kevin died serving the country.

As a minister, you are expected to stay above petty politics. You should be mature in handling this.

You should have advised Charles to hand over the evidence to the police for further investigation. Instead, you chose to play to the gallery.

Odin Tajué: Abdul Rahman, if you have read the information on this issue and enough functioning beige matter in your cranium to understand it all, there is absolutely nothing suspicious about Charles' timing.

He made his statutory declaration practically hours after learning that Kevin's remains had been taken away from the morgue - an act obviously calculated to thwart a second, independent post-mortem that he has requested to be conducted on them (the remains).

But, of course, you have fallen very short there. You are of the same level as your fellow failed actors, Ramesh Rao and Lester Leefe Melanyi. You are indeed Umno's Tragic Mis-Communications Director.

Roger 5201: With all due respect to Abdul Rahman, Kevin and Charles are more than mere bad actors, they are victims of a murder for which Kevin paid with his life.

Vijay47: Abdul Rahman, no one can be surprised anymore for your consistent predilection to reveal with utmost pride your absolute lack of intelligence.

A "bad script and equally bad actor" you say? But neither of these is being put up for the Oscars, rather it is the plaintiff cry of an anguished family to seek some justice.

Since you make reference to the cinema world, perhaps you would share with us why almost every unsavoury twist and turn in the country's sorry plot is somehow related to the couple at the head of your ‘20th Century Wolf’ movie company. I am sure you feel sorry about this.

Anonymous_4031c: Abdul Rahman is right. If there is anything worth disclosing, Charles should not ‘shadow play’ with words.

Charles should have disclosed what he 'allegedly' received from Kevin by arranging for it to be publish in the internet or via some media organisation in the United States.

From there, Charles can arrange to hand over a copy of the pen drive contents to our most efficient and trusted police force for investigation.

Whether it’s true or not, let the authorities decide after the investigations are completed. Until that is done, it’s all hogwash and speculation, much like an Agatha Christie thriller.

Gggg: The SD came out immediately after Kevin's body was claimed before the second post-mortem could be done. Indeed, no one is interested in the Umno general assembly.

If you (Abdul Rahman) want the truth, get a handwriting expert to verify whether the initials (on the alleged charge sheet) were Kevin's.

Dingy: Yes, in the alleged charge sheet against Najib, there was a slight typological error and it had an initial which according to Charles, belonged to Kevin.

It is easy to prove whether the initial was Kevin's by referring to other documents that were handled by Kevin.

Tholu: Abdul Rahman, are you now denying that there was a charge sheet against the PM?

Were you not the one who quoted attorney-general Mohamed Apandi Ali’s reminder to the public that the alleged charge sheet could be a plot to criminalise Najib?

And were you not the one who justified the PM’s action of transferring two top officials from the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to the Prime Minister's Department and the hauling up of officers from the AG’s Chambers for investigation pertaining to the charge sheet.

You said that the PM had to “take people out” when it came to the knowledge of the PM on the existence of the charge sheet against him.

Didn’t you say that it would be “game over” for Najib if he admitted that the RM2.6 billion was corruption money?

But now you are dismissing the allegations of the existence of the charge sheet. Now who is playing ‘wayang’?

Mojo Jojo: There is a simple explanation as to why the Atlanta-based Charles has bad acting skills: he isn't an actor, unlike professional politicians the likes of some of you.

BernieBaby: How can a brother of the deceased be a bad actor?

Abdul Rahman, just because Umno has scriptwriters, directors and actors doesn't mean that everything else is a ‘wayang’.
