Persatuan Ummah Sejahtera Malaysia (PasMa) announced today that it will support Pakatan Harapan in the next general election.

PasMa president Phahrolrazi Mohd Zawawi said the party was a Pakatan Harapan supporter and gave the freedom to its members to choose any party in the coalition.

Phahrolrazi, who is also Pengkalan Kundor assemblyperson, said PasMa would not support a solitary opposition party like PAS.

"We just will not support any solitary opposition party because we stick to the country's system of two-cornered fights," he told reporters after attending the second PasMa convention at Kepala Batas.

He said PasMa was ready to support any policy and effort by Pakatan Harapan in the states under its administration, especially in Penang.

Phahrolrazi also urged the Selangor government leadership to take the same stand as the Penang government in establishing the Pakatan Harapan state government.
