Police report lodged against Mujahid for likening PAS to IS
Penang PAS and its Non-Muslim Supporters Club wants Parti Amanah Negara vice-president Mujahid Yusof Rawa to withdraw his remarks that allegedly likened PAS to terrorists like Islamic State (IS) and Al-Maunah.
State PAS information chief Iszuree Ibrahim said such remarks were “malicious” as PAS has promoted democracy and peace since the party was established in the 1960s.
“We do not condone terrorist acts. When Paris was attacked by those claiming to be from IS, our president Abdul Hadi Awang visited the French Embassy in Kuala Lumpur. We offered our condolences and condemned the violence,” Iszuree said after lodging a police report against Mujahid.
