There could be an agenda behind the sudden rush to pass the National Security Council (NSC) bill in light of Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's decreasing popularity, Amanah information chief Khalid Samad said today.

"We say we fear (that there might be an agenda) because we don't actually know his intentions. But it certainly seems that way.
