Umno has been back-stabbed and shunned in Penang and Selangor by government-linked companies (GLCs), delegates from the two states told the party's general assembly.

"These corporate guys implemented projects worth billions, but not a single sen went to Umno.

"The GLCs stab us from behind; they support the Penang state government," Musa Sheikh Fadzir, a Bukit Mertajam delegate, said during the debate on the president's policy speech at the Umno general assembly.
