Ismail Sabri: Hard for a feuding Umno to win over voters
Umno will have problems to win the hearts of the people and voters in the 14th general election (GE14) if its members and top leaders continue to engage in disputes.
Umno supreme council member Ismail Sabri Yaakob said in today's ever challenging political landscape, all party members, including top leaders, should stay united and set aside their differences for the sake of the party.
“Even party president Najib Abdul Razak has been magnanimous and showed the best example when he opened the door of friendship to ensure the unity among Umno members will be strengthened.
“Now, it is up to those members to decide, because if the disputes continue, it is not impossible for the party to be facing a lot of problems in the next general election.”
He said this to reporters after presenting UPSR excellence award and school supplies, including uniforms, shoes and bags worth RM150 each to schoolchildren in Bera parliamentary constituency today.
