Projek Lebuhraya Usahasama Berhad (Plus) has advised the public to ignore the rumour that a landslide had purportedly occurred near the Menora Tunnel, near Ipoh.

The Plus operator, through the Twitter website Plus Trafik, reported that there was no landslide in the area as had been spread on the social website since yesterday.

Plus urged the highway users to ignore the rumour.

It was learnt that the photograph which had been spread widely was actually that of the landslide incident on the Karak Highway recently.

Plus also advised members of the public to obtain the latest traffic information by calling the toll-free PLUSline 1800 88 0000.

Meanwhile, the State Fire and Rescue Department did not receive any report or emergency call on any landslide incident in the area concerned.
