The Pro-Barisan Nasional (BN) non-governmental organisations (NGO) alliance wants police to investigate allegations by PAS Research Centre director Mohd Zuhdi Marzuki that DAP was offered RM1.2 billion by Israel if they won the 13th general election, as reported by the media recently.
Mohd Zuhdi also claimed that among the conditions of the offer was to allow the opening of an Israeli military base in the country if DAP captured Putrajaya.
Pro-BN NGO alliance president Zulkarnain Mahdar said if Mohd Zuhdi's allegations were true, it would be a huge disaster for Malaysia that should not be left ignored, as it involved national security and sensitivities of the Muslims.
"The question now is does DAP have ties with Israel?," he said in a statement after the alliance lodged a report at the Alam Mesra police station in Miri today.
"Pro-BN (alliance) requests police to thoroughly investigate the matter as many Malaysians are beginning to doubt DAP after reading Mohd Zuhdi's recent claim," he said.
