Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has wished Najib Abdul Razak a speedy recovery.

The Malaysian prime minister had yesterday successfully underwent a minor surgery to remove a small benign growth on his right hand at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL).

Lee, in his Twitter , said: “Glad to hear your procedure today was successful. Wishing you a speedy recovery and see you soon. - LHL.”

HKL in a statement said Najib underwent the operation as an outpatient and that the prime minister had returned home to rest.
