Perlis Menteri Besar Azlan Man said vape selling licences will not be issued to any dealers of electronic cigarettes or vape in the state.

He said the state government had received written advice from the Health Ministry not to allow the sale of vape in Perlis.

“We have extended the advice to the Kangar Municipal Council and the chances are we will take an approach to ban its use as well. However, we are still waiting for information from the federal government in relation to the dangers of using vape,” he told reporters after witnessing the handing over of cheques to recipients of invalidity pensions and Social Security Organisation (Socso) at the Menteri Besar’s Office in Kangar yesterday.
