CM: Four PBB elected reps to defend seats in S'wak polls
Sarawak Chief Minister Adenan Satem today confirmed four elected representatives from Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) will be renominated to defend their seats in the coming state election.
They are Sarawak Housing and Tourism Minister Abang Johari Openg (Satok), Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali (Samariang), Abdul Rahman Junaidi (Pantai Damai) and Hazland Abang Hipni (Demak Laut).
Adenan, who is also PBB president and Sarawak BN chairperson, said however Tupong incumbent Daud Abdul Rahman - who is additionally the assistant minister in the CM's office (Islamic affairs) - would voluntarily withdraw from contesting.
He noted that all four elected representatives concerned had given excellent services to the people in their constituencies.
Announcing this when officially opening the DBKU 2016 Agenda ceremony in Kuching today, he therefore urged the electorate to give their undivided support to them.
