Putrajaya must consult rulers for TPPA, says Malay chambers

The Malay Chambers of Commerce and Industry (DPMM) wants Putrajaya to refer to the Conference of Rulers before agreeing to the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPPA)

DPMM president Syed Ali Alattas said this is necessary as the TPPA will affect the country's sovereignty.

He also expressed pessimism that Parliament will be able to address the issue, leaving the rulers as the last stand.
