PKR leaders who attended a recent programme organised by Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) in Kelantan were considered to have denied PAS' interests, PAS secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan said today.
He said this was because PKR was still PAS' political partner and Kelantan had remained under PAS administration, but the programme organised by Amanah was clearly aimed at criticising PAS.
"So any PKR leaders attending the programme organised by Amanah are considered to have denied PAS' interests," he told reporters in Kota Baru.
When asked about the presence of PKR leaders in programmes organised by Amanah in other states, Takiyuddin said the issue was only relevant to Kelantan.
As such, he said PAS committees at the branch and division levels statewide had been asked to lodge a report with the central committee should their leaders or members were found to have attended Amanah programmes.
Earlier this month, PAS had also issued a warning to all its members and leaders not to attend any programmes organised by Amanah.
