The Ministry of Rural and Regional Development is conducting a thorough review in terms of the logistical aspects of its plan to open two more bumiputera information technology (IT) centres - Mara Digital Malls.

Its minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the study included the setting of rental rates and other costs at the new sites, namely the Anggerik Mall in Shah Alam, and Glomac Mall in Damansara.

"We will look at it overall including the costing and it will be done on a case-to-case basis.

"This does not mean there will be no promotions like we had at the MARA Atrium Mall, (where operators) are given six-months free rental but we have not decided (on it) yet," he told reporters during a 'Jom Ngeteh' programme in North Gombak today.
