It is nothing new for people to say bad things about Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak and his wife Rosmah Mansor, said Umno minister Nazri Abdul Aziz.

In fact, the more bad wishes rained on the couple, the better they've got, he added.

Thus, Nazri ( photo ) welcomed all the bad wishes as it would only serve to make Najib and Rosmah stronger.

"What is new (about the bad wishes)? There is nothing new what?

"In the past four to five years they gave him bad wishes, but nothing happened, (Najib) getting stronger.

"So, I think the more bad wishes, the better Najib and Rosmah got," he told Malaysiakini when contacted.

The outspoken Umno supreme council member was asked to comment on a note put up at Atria Shopping Gallery in Petaling Jaya with the wish that Najib and Rosmah would jatuh longkang (fall into a drain), which the management later took it down.

The note was put up as part of the mall's Chinese New Year 'Wishing Cards' programme.

"It is not enough for Najib to fall into the drain. Najib and Rosmah must fall into the drain," the note said.

Pictures of the notes are now being circulated online.
