Rosmah Mansor, wife of Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak, visited the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles in this Californian city today (yesterday in the United States).

Rosmah discussed autism treatment and integrated recovery for children with the management staff and specialists of the hospital.

She also witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the hospital and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).

Hospital vice-president Dr Henri Ford and Prof Dr A Rahman A Jamal of the Paediatrics Department of the Medical Faculty of UKM signed the MOU on training programmes for Malaysian doctors and nurses at the non-profit hospital.

The hospital employs 528 specialists and is reputed to have the best paediatricians in the United States. It provides paediatric healthcare to more than 100,000 children annually.
