The new Kedah state executive council is scheduled to be sworn in on Monday.

The ceremony will take place beginning 9am at the Istana Anak Bukit, according to the letter of invitation received by the media today from the state secretariat.

The handing over of the instruments of appointment and swearing-in will take place before Kedah Regency Council chairperson Tunku Sallehuddin Ibni Almarhum Sultan Badlishah.

It is noted that new Menteri Besar Ahmad Bashah Md Hanipah has yet to announce the lineup of the state executive council.

He was sworn in as the MB on Feb 4, a day after Mukhriz Mahathir resigned from the post - citing a loss of majority support in the state legislative assembly.
