Umno rebel faction Gabungan Ketua Cawangan Umno Malaysia (GKCM) has once again thrown down the gauntlet to party secretary-general Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor, challenging him to debate with them on recent turbulence in the party.

The challenge was delivered by GKCM president Kamarulazman Habibur Rahman, who said that until today, no disciplinary action has been taken against him or the group.

The group was supposedly slated to face disciplinary action for its open defiance against Umno president Najib Abdul Razak and repeated questioning of government scandals involving 1MDB and the RM2.6 billion donation that was deposited in the prime minister's personal accounts,
