Youth leaders, don't just speak up but rise up
YOURSAY | ‘More Malaysians are anti-Najib than pro-Najib. Think about it.’
Najib will ruin the nation, say youth leaders
6th Generation Immigrant:
To the members of Challenger (Change led by the Young Generation) and all the youths of Malaysia, please stand up and be counted. You are the future of this country.
We old farts are fighting against PM Najib Abdul Razak and cronies because it is hard to try and feed ourselves, plus we are afraid that whatever savings we have shall also be plundered.
Umno has already plundered the youths of their intellectuality, freedom of speech, freedom of thought, freedom to be informed and freedom to have a united Malaysia.
Legit: Don't just speak up, but rise up. The country is not only being 'wrecked' but it is being plundered, sold on the cheap to foreigners, shamed, its people being humiliated and reduced to poverty, their intelligence insulted, their freedom trampled and what not.
It's time for the youth to stand up and fight, or the future generation of this country is screwed.
Anonymous 2402521456737582: Najib needs disunity to survive. And it seems Malaysians are very eager to be disunited.
We can only remove him if a truly two-party fight takes place. More Malaysians are anti-Najib than pro-Najib. Think about it. By refusing to work together, we doom ourselves.
Anonymous_1371705241: I absolutely agree with and support the stance made by the youth groups. It is with this movement that the corrupt regime can slowly be removed from this beautiful country.
The reason why they can be so confident with their positions and so arrogant is that they know they can manipulate enough people to stay in power.
Yes, there may be gerrymandering, and vote buying, but if the people are educated and mature enough to think for the future and not let these crooks get their way, would they succeed with their dirty tactics? I very much doubt so.
It is therefore the mindset of these people that is jeopardising our beloved country. If the opposition wins 70 percent of the popular votes, no attempt of gerrymandering can overwhelm that.
It is imperative to deliver the message to the people who consistently prove that the ‘cash is king’ theory right.
Changing their mindset is a tough one, of course. But if every group and sector plays a part, it will become possible and the dawn will not be too far away.
Anonymous 2402081456903803: Are you sure that the opponents are better than the current government?
I have actually been thinking about Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, who claimed that Najib is a national disgrace.
Yes, you are an award-winning debater, but do you think that you are true enough to talk about others while actually you're being used by a group of leaders such as Lim Guan Eng, Lim Kit Siang, Rafizi Ramli, Tony Pua and Anwar Ibrahim? Think about it, young man.
Anonymous_1371705241: Anonymous 2402081456903803, well, at least he did not sell his soul and dignity to the ultimate corruptor.
Anonymous #74150739: "Our love for Malaysia is unparalleled. It is therefore our duty to speak up against those who seek to wreck our beloved country apart."
I hope it is a translation/editing error. Are they inferring that they have a much greater love for Malaysia than other Malaysians? You do not "wreck" a country "apart".
Awang Top: Anonymous #74150739, don't try to pick bones. I am sure you are smart enough to understand what they meant.
Notsoshiningarmour: Correction - not “Najib will ruin the country”. He has already ruined the nation and that is why we have to take it back from him and stop him in his tracks.
Anonymous_3e86: The only youths left who support Najib are the Mat Rempit. All the educated ones, or at least those who can think for themselves, no longer support him or the ruling party.
Abasir: A word of advice to those who make up Challenger - don't stop with the statement. Go forth and multiply.
Anonymous Hotplate: Rise up, youths! Youths are the future leaders of our country.
Please save our nation from these idiots. Enough is enough, they have plundered and torn our nation to pieces, while they allegedly accumulate wealth and properties and stole millions to live in luxury.
It is the youths of this nation who should act fast, working together with some of our leaders who sincerely care for our nation.
Kenneth_3486: Challenger, do not just talk on the Internet, but go back to your kampung and do the necessary.
Anonymous 2398161454293761: A good leader is a person who has the courage to admit that he/she is wrong when he/she is wrong.
These are the leaders needed by the people, those who always take care of the welfare and interests of the people.
Sanusi Ngah: Bravo to Syed Saddiq and Challenger. Your quest for a better Malaysia has the support of many and the silent majority.
Our salute for the young, brave and bold. United and victory will be assured.
