Najib: Saudi Arabia not alone in facing any threat

Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak said Saudi Arabia was not alone in facing any threat following the formation of the Islamic Military Alliance participated by 34 countries.

Malaysia, he said, is part of the alliance formed by Saudi Arabia.

"The alliance gives a clear signal that the stability, security and position of Saudi Arabia in the Islamic world is very important to Malaysia and other Islamic countries," he said in his latest posting on his Facebook today.

Najib said part of his latest working visit agenda to Saudi Arabia was to visit the Malaysian Armed Forces personnel taking part in the Northern Thunder military exercise at Hafar Al Batin.

Najib was on a working visit to Saudi Arabia from March 1 to 3.

Accompanying him on the visit were Defence Minister Hishammuddin Hussein, Ministers in the Prime Minister's Department Jamil Khir Baharom and Abdul Wahid Omar as well as senior government officers.
