Doors open to all, says MIC president

The MIC has opened its doors to all quarters, including supporters of former party president G Palanivel, to forge unity among Indians.
MIC president Dr S Subramaniam said currently the majority of the members were loyal towards the party which had a total of 3,700 branches with 400,000 members.
"Our doors have always been open, especially to those who could not join us during the last party elections," he told reporters after attending the 'Manavar Vizha' youth programme at Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (Cina) Pandamaran B in Klang today.
He said the party was currently engaging in many activities on the ground where many people were starting to show interest in what the party was doing.
