The body of a woman, with ligature marks on the neck, was found stuffed in a black Polo suitcase in Kampung Bukit Kapar, Meru yesterday.

Klang Utara deputy police chief Supt Nor Omar Sappi said there was no identification document found on the victim, believed to be in her 30s and clad in purple T-shirt and black pants.

"Based on the post-mortem report, there were three ligature marks caused by a purple-beaded shawl on the neck," he said through WhatsApp today.

He believed the victim was killed elsewhere.

He urged those with missing relatives to contact the Klang Utara police headquarters to identify the body.
