Gerakan Youth chief Tan Keng Liang has been on a Twitter rampage since news of Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng's bungalow made headlines.

His tweets are also peppered with sarcastic hashtags such as #NoSwimmingPool #Idontknowmarketprice.

Apart from re-tweeting articles on the controversy, he has also started a poll on whether a person would sell or purchase a house without knowing its market value.

This was in response to the seller Phang Li Koon , who stated that she sold the bungalow without conducting a market review.

Lim has come under fire after it was revealed that he had acquired the bungalow in Jalan Pinhorn for RM2.8 million, which is well below the market price.

The matter is also the subject of investigation by the Malaysian Anti- Corruption Commission (MACC).

The chief minister, however, has denied any wrongdoing while Phang claimed that it was her right to sell the house at whatever price to the person whom she respected.

Meanwhile, Tan noted that DAP had the habit of asking others to go on leave.

"DAP has the habit of asking others to go on leave when allegations are made on BN leaders. Why not ask the same for Lim?" he tweeted, with the hashtag "#hypocrite".

Tan, who has a Twitter following of close to 70,000, also criticised the chief minister for going to China for a working visit amid the bungalow controversy.

"Best if you cut short your sudden overseas trip to China. Thought you asked MACC to expedite investigation. Please come back. Thank-you.

"You just ask MACC to expedite investigation but you immediately go overseas? Wow.....#nothingtohide," he said.

Yesterday, Lim's aide Wong Hon Wai claimed that his boss wanted the MACC to speed up its probe on the matter to prove that he runs a clean administration.
