PKR vice-president Rafizi Ramli said although 1MDB president and chief executive officer Arul Kanda Kandasamy is said to be resigning, he can still be held culpable for the scandal plaguing the state investment fund.

"Maybe his task is finished, but he has been the CEO before and he is still responsible for the actions prior to this," he said when commenting on reports that Arul Kanda may step down soon .

Rafizi, who is also PKR secretary-general, said he has been summoned by the police following a report he lodged against 1MDB yesterday.
