Syed Saddiq, no need to get into a slanging match with Bung
YOURSAY | ‘After all, what would Parliament, heck, even Malaysia, be without Bung Moktar?’
Democracy doesn't stop after reps get elected, top debater tells Bung
CQ Muar:
Shame on you, Kinabatangan MP Bung Moktar Radin, for trying to intimidate a young and upcoming leader such as Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman.
Must we remind you that while your prospect as a lawmaker is fast at the edge of a precipice, young and talented Saddiq is slowly but surely moving uphill? It is disgraceful that you should belittle him with such statements and insinuations.
Despite your experience in Parliament, I will take a wager that you will not have that iota of courage to debate young Saddiq in public.
Vijay47: Bung Moktar, I believe you recently underwent medical attention in China and I wish you speedy recovery.
However, I suggest you exercise caution in the medication you are taking as it appears that certain ingredients are having unwelcome effects on your mental faculties. Of course, it could simply be your old ailments continuing to manifest themselves.
I note you have amazingly concluded that debate is the preserve solely of members of Parliament and that MPs' accountability is restricted to that sacred ageing building in the Lake Gardens.
While a welcome change from the ladies' anatomy you are usually more concerned with, those attributes you demand of a debater-icon are more appropriately required of a politician, virtues, alas, prominent in you by their absence.
You say Syed Saddiq has "no direction in life" - is this subconscious anxiety over what is already afflicting you?
Once again, I wish you good health. After all, what would Parliament, heck, even Malaysia, be without you?
Sabahan: Bung does not know how to debate. He is used to coffeeshop talk in his rural kampongs and expecting the uneducated and jobless locals to admire him. That is why he gave this silly condition.
Tell the Truth: Good job , Syed Saddiq. Bung only knows how to talk about ‘ bocor ’. When it comes to intellectual issues, he is like a village idiot.
The truth is he has no testicular courage to go one on one with you knowing full well he has no brains to match yours. So keep it up for the truth will prevail.
The Analyser: My advice is not to get into a slanging match with any of those Umno goons. This is because you are guaranteed to lose as they will fight dirty and you will fight ethically and factually.
Bear in mind that the majority of BN parliamentarians have been elected not because of what they have to offer, but because nobody else has anything at all to offer. Find out what the people want and present that to them and you are on to a sure winner.
My second piece of advice is to avoid personality versus personality confrontations at all costs.
Let your philosophy and policies speak for you, otherwise you will get the Lim Guan Eng Treatment... i.e. you will be tolerated until you get too uppity, then the axe will fall.
Legit: What a shame, a young boy urging a debate and this man beats around the bush. This is the standard of elected representatives in Malaysia.
Anonymous_1377321471: Substandard MPs are allegedly aplenty in the current cabinet doing nothing constructive for the nation but busy amassing wealth for themselves, as said by the CIMB chairperson. Cry for Malaysia.
GE14Now!: What Bung has clearly demonstrated is that Umno politicians are allegedly really good at lying. They will tell you that they are there to serve you when they canvass for your votes.
Once they have got them, they will then tell you that you have no rights because you are there to serve them.
Hence all that stealing from the country because they believe that it is allegedly their right to plunder the country's coffers.
Do we really still want these people who already have had more than 50 years of irresponsible rule? My answer is a resounding ‘no’.
Urkidding: Syed Saddiq is certainly smarter than Bung. With that, we can bring the curtain down.
Should Bung thinks he know what true democracy is all about, come and stand in Bukit Bintang or any other Kuala Lumpur constituency to prove your worth.
Mahsuri: While Bung's opinion is that Syed "is someone who thinks he is smart", the rest of us Malaysians already know that Bung is stupid.
So stop being a heartless bully and pick on someone your own size... and by size, I am referring to IQ and brain capacity, hence, Syed, behave now, stop goading the village idiot.
