Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi arrived at Kuching International Airport at about 7.45pm this evening for a one-day working visit to Sarawak.
Tomorrow, he is scheduled to attend two programmes, a Sejiwa Senada (One Soul, One Harmony) gathering and a leader with the people session at Kampung Entawa Undop in Sri Aman, before returning to Kuala Lumpur tomorrow evening.
He was met upon arrival by Sarawak resource planning and environment II, public utilities and industrial development minister Awang Tengah Ali Hasan, as well as natural resources and environment minister Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar.
About 50 heads of villages and local leaders were also present to greet the arrival of Ahmad Zahid.
