Mahathir's bid to freeze Najib's assets to be heard on June 23

Former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad and two others who have filed application for a mareva injunction against Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak to freeze the Umno president's assets is fixed for hearing at the High Court in Kuala Lumpur on June 23.

On that same day, Najib's application for a stay for filing his defence against the suit will also be heard.

Both applications are expected to be heard before Justice Rosnani Saub, the judge who had been assigned to hear the case.
