S'WAK POLLS Sarawak Chief Minister Adenan Satem said the state government has given a total of RM10.3 million in compensation to 235 families, whose lands were acquired for the Pan Borneo Highway.

"We hope those who received the compensation will be thankful to the government," he said when attending an event at Kampung Sorak Sumpang, about 70km from Kuching.

This has demolished the lies spread by the opposition that the state government had acquired the lands without giving out compesation (to the affected families), he said.

"Everytime we are give out (land) titles, the opposition is not happy because it proved that it has been lying all the time," he said.

"And, (another) lie has been uncovered today," he said, referring to the compensation.

Adenan, who took office in February 2014, told the voters to support BN candidates if they want him to continue to helm the state.

"If you want me, please support my candidates; if you don't want, then don't support," he said.
