PKR secretary-general Rafizi Ramli has denied Pakatan Harapan will decide on who will contest in the Sungai Besar and Kuala Kangsar by-elections tomorrow.

Instead, Rafizi said the meeting tomorrow is by the Amanah central committee at its headquarters in Selayang.

"Tomorrow is Amanah's meeting at the Amanah headquarters in Selayang," he told Malaysiakini when contacted.

Earlier today, Bernama, quoting Amanah president Mohamad Sabu, reported that Pakatan Harapan will tomorrow decide on the by-elections which is to be held on June 18.

However, the meeting is supposed to be an Amanah affair.

Nonetheless, the party is still expected to discuss the by-election, but not at the coalition level.

The by-elections are being held following the passing of deputy minister Noriah Kasnan, who is also Sungai Besar MP, and Kuala Kangsar MP Mohammad Khair-il Anuar Wan Ahmad in a helicopter accident.

Amanah president, Mohamad Sabu said the meeting would be held at the party's office in Kuala Lumpur in preparation for the contest in the by-election.
