Malaysia and Denmark will square off in the semi-finals of the 2016 Thomas Cup tournament tomorrow at the Kunshan Sports Centre, in China.

Malaysia advanced into the semi-finals after defeating Taiwan 3-1 while Denmark edged defending champion Japan 3-2 in another quarter-final match at the Kunshan Sports Centre.

Nine times winner China were upset by South Korea, 3-1 while Indonesia beat Hong Kong 3-1 in another quarter-final encounter.

South Korea will face Indonesia in the other semi-final.

In the Uber Cup competition, India, China, South Korea and Japan moved into the semi-finals.

India beat Thailand 3-1; South Korea beat Indonesia 3-0; Japan beat Denmark 3-0 and China beat Taiwan 3-0.
