The Sessions Court in Tawau today sentenced a Filipino man to 18 months’ jail after being found guilty of possessing a fake IMM13 document.

Judge Ummu Kalthom Abd Samad ordered Hajail Kadil, 30, to serve the sentence from today.

Umm Kalthom also ordered Hajail to be referred to the Immigration Department after serving the sentence.

Hajail was accused of committing the offence on May 29, at about 9am, around Teluk Cowie in Tawau.
