A pro-Umno portal has questioned the reason for not filing a report with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) over the private jet expose involving Rosmah Mansor.

"Howling about abuse of power here and there, but where is the report? There is no case, so what is there to report?" said MyKMU.net.

Taking a swipe at PKR secretary-general Rafizi Ramli, who raised the issue, the portal asked if he needed party president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail's permission to file a report.

This was an obvious reference to the alleged "women and money" scandal involving the Selangor government, which also came to light because of the Pandan lawmaker.

Meanwhile,  MyKMU said the reason the private jet issue was raised is because of a political agenda with regard to the June 18 twin by-elections.

The portal stated that the wife of a prime minister had always been accorded the privilege of using the government jet.

"It is certain that wives of former prime ministers also used the government jet often, including the one whose husband was prime minister for 22 years," it added, referring to Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

According to MyKMU, the issue was simple, and did not require one to have a London education to figure it out.

"Simple. if not qualified (to use the jet), but (the person still uses it), this can be reported. But days of howling have passed, and yet there has been no report. This means, no wrongdoing was committed.

"It is just about politics, nothing more, nothing less.

"The issue of wastage is rubbish. It is impossible that a day’s travel would cost the same as the price of buying a jet. Even in the fasting month, the lies continue," it said.

The portal also urged for legal action to be taken against the person peddling these allegations.

"This liar cannot be allowed to continue, if not, he would become like Mahathir, obsessed with his lies until all explanations are disregarded, only what he says is right...

"It is his task to lie, the proof is that despite the presence of so many opposition MPs, why is it that only he lies. That is his job. Sue him until he is left with only his underpants," it added.
