YOURSAY | 'I thought the last election you had almost 50pct votes? Aren’t the latest results a loss?'

Dr M officially 'defanged' by twin polls results, says Nik Abduh

Dont Just Talk: It is not former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad that is toothless as PAS Youth chief Nik Abduh Nik Aziz wants voters to believe, but it is PAS under president Abdul Hadi Awang that is toothless.

Before the two by-elections, Nik Abduh said that he had lots of secret weapons under his sleeve but after the results were announced, PAS could only say that the party did better than Parti Amanah Negara.

PAS was not embarrassed in losing the two by-elections and it is time for Hadi and Nik Abduh to pack their bags, forget the non-Malay voters in suburban areas in the 14th GE, and return to Kampung Rusila in Kuala Terengganu and to Kelantan to preach their hudud to the simple-minded kampung folk.

In conclusion, Hadi's threat of divine intervention to those who voted against PAS failed to convince the voters. He is a clown who cried wolf once too often.

Baramundi: PAS, I thought the last election you had almost 50 percent votes? Aren’t the latest results a loss and nothing to be proud of?

Hank Marvin: Nik Abduh is trying to make something out of nothing. Amanah, which is only nine months old, can achieve something comparable to PAS, which is 65 years old this year.

Which means Amanah is on the way up while PAS is going down. That is what that 25 percent votes means, stupid.

RKR: Nik Abduh, what kind of convoluted logic is that? The results are a clear indication that PAS is losing support big time due to the demise of Pakatan Rakyat. Please continue this way and we will see another Gerakan or PPP in the making.

Mosquitobrain: Holy cow! Nik Abduh must have gotten up from the wrong side of his bed. He is heaping praises on his party's new-found sleeping partner, BN-Umno for defeating his own party, PAS, and Amanah.

This young 'ciku', instead of bashing, is singing praises of country's No 1 and scandal-hit PM Najib Razak. Really 'mudah lupa' (easily forget).

Angel: Why don't you ask God why PAS did not win? Why blame it on Mahathir?

Skyborn: Nik Abduh, why reinvent the wheel? The key is to leave race and religion out of politics. Your belief of the afterlife is a personal choice. Let's just leave that in the mosque, temple, kuil or church. Let's be real.

The antidote to the BN model is a 1Malaysia party. If Pakatan Harapan is serious to discard race and religious issues, then a single party of true Malaysians is the real test for all to put aside their different agendas to unite the people.

The present leaders of PKR, DAP and Amanah know too well why Pakatan Harapan was formed. These leaders need to have the will, the commitment, to really work in unity to say, 1Malaysia for all Malaysians.

In this 21st Century global world where the world is borderless, these racial politics and extreme radical religious views divide race, religion and culture, and when there is no peace, joy and love, we have nothing.

So start building heaven on this one and only earth we have.

Jaguh: What does PAS want? It sounds like you are trying to win members for a religious sect, and not one that aims to govern a country. So you may as well reclassify PAS as such. Stay away from politics.

Many PAS members also realise there is no hope in PAS, even in Kelantan.

Kazakh: PAS is now a spent force, rejected by Muslims as well as the Chinese. Their brand of Islam belongs to the tribal age of the medieval Arabs that is no longer relevant to the 21st Century.

This has reduced their role to just being an election spoiler, troublemakers that nobody really wants except Umno-BN, who has used them to take away some votes from Pakatan Harapan.

Mafeeah: It is ‘haram’ to hear Nik Abduh speak. His mouth is full of foam and hatred towards others who do not agree with him.

A disgrace to his father's legacy. Sounds familiar?

Tembikai: Nik Abduh, I wish you will repent too and be more like your father. You are nothing like your father. So repent first yourself before you tell others to repent.

Anonymous #33227154: This man is still living in delusion and lies. He is already buried together with PAS. Now PAS needs to join Umno to save their skins.

Lamps: PAS has also been 'defanged'. Losing the by-elections shows the people have rejected hudud.

Anonymous #40538199: PAS is likely to be bitten by the same snake in the same hole again.

If PAS continues its liaison with Umno and engages in three-cornered fights with Amanah and Umno in GE14, it is very likely that PAS will hand over Kelantan to Umno.

I feel very sorry that the son goes against the advice of the father – don’t go back to the same hole where the same snake is waiting.
