Hadi, explain why Allah let Amanah beat PAS in Sg Besar
YOURSAY | ‘Hadi, oh, Hadi, how many more ways can we describe thee?’
Don't despair as it is Allah's will, says Hadi on twin polls
Doc: My understanding is that PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang had indicated that the outcome of the twin by-elections was because it was Allah’s will, and it was His will to grant victory to those with pure intentions.
Hence it seems that Allah had chosen Umno-BN and PM Najib Razak to win the elections. Apparently He approves of Najib, who has built his party on the foundations of corruption, cronyism and racism.
But one thing confuses me, how come Allah allowed an eight-month-old party to trash an Islamic party that has been in active politics for more than 50 years in Sungai Besar.
Maybe Allah is hitting out at Hadi personally or at PAS for watering down the hudud law to accommodate BN's infidel component parties’ grievances.
Or maybe the hudud law does not allow for mercy, which is what Allah the Merciful is known for.
Cmfoo: When lost for words, humiliated or backed into a corner, trust this man of cloth, Hadi, to vainly invoke Allah in a feeble attempt to explain his party’s humiliating loss.
Give him all the space he needs to lead the once glorious PAS, when under the imitable Nik Aziz Nik Mat, into oblivion.
Pemerhati: Hadi said “it is in Allah's powers to dictate victory for all who uphold Islam”.
Considering that in this case Najib’s party won both the by-elections, it would appear that Hadi’s Allah favours the party whose leader is not only fond of receiving ‘American pies’ but has shown an unusual liking for Scorpene submarines.
Citizen_Zero: Hadi, oh, Hadi, how many more ways can we describe thee? Here’s another:
From these people, we see that there is an Umno god, and there is a PAS god. Because they won, the Umno god has apparently chosen Najib. Because they lost, PAS god should have chosen them, but will do so later.
You can invoke your god and all the line of prophets you want, but using them as an excuse for your electoral loss and end up legitimising Umno?
When you live a lie, there’s nothing you say that will come out true. Hadi is a nobody, especially without the contrived 'hudud'.
What we were concerned about was that this nobody suddenly has the opportunity and capacity to cause us damage and grief.
You got what you deserve, and will keep on getting it. For now, we have one less thing to worry about. We know what to do next.
Existential Turd: If everything is Allah's will, why bother? If Kelantan is inundated by flood, that's Allah's will. If PAS loses an election, that's Allah's will.
Why can't they take a hint from Allah then?
Swipenter: So PAS losing in both by-elections have nothing to do with them and their archaic thinking, but it was all due to "Allah's will".
Hadi then why bother to do anything, especially sabotaging and backstabbing PKR, DAP and Amanah but conniving with Umno. So just sit back and wait for "Allah's will".
Anonymous$&@?: A leader who blames failure in the name of God to cover his weakness and poor strategy is a con-artist and snake oil salesman rolled into one.
Only fools (like his party followers) would swallow such an excuse blindly because they are too lazy to analyse the reasons for their failure.
Anonymous_1372741039: Money politics and handouts were distributed as reported that put paid to Umno-BN winning massively.
It certainly isn't God's will. It's the will of two-legged men. To claim that God is behind the results is blasphemous.
Please refrain from attributing it to Allah. He has given men free will and free choice.
Hell unquenchable fire awaits all men, all sinners. Those who had a hand in the missing ‘ransom’ money, lied in their teeth know who they are. There is no escape from hell's fires.
Anonymous #40538199: From the result of the three-cornered fight in Kuala Kangsar and Sungai Besar, one cannot help but think that Kelantan is likely to be handed over to BN if PAS is continued to be led by Hadi and his gang.
Quigonbond: It's not Allah's will. It's that most constituents don't think hudud is a good idea, and that PAS is bad at general governance.
Hadi, you should be a statesman and give up your dream on hudud or to be the prime minister. Surely you see BN as a big ugly monster, corrupted, abusing power, etc.
It's time to do the right thing by all Malaysians.
Kuasa Rakyat: Najib said Umno's victories are proof that Umno is doing God Almighty's will.
In other word, God has granted Umno victory over "God's enemies", namely PAS, and Amanah of course.
Maplesyrup: According to Hadi, Allah grant victory to those with pure intentions. Well said. That means Umno has pure intentions whereas you, PAS, has none.
Not Convinced: For Hadi, it's never his fault. It's always God's fault.
