The Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry (Mosti) will commercialise 71 more new research and development products by the end of the year.

Its secretary-general Noorul Ainur Mohd Nur said as at June, 74 products have been commercialised.

"These products will serve as a special key performance indicator, in conjunction with Malaysia Commercialisation Year 2016," he said after iftar at Wisma Bernama in Kuala Lumpur last night.

Noorul Ainur said the ministry had set a target of 360 new globally competitive products for commercialisation by 2020.
