The public have been urged to not speculate on the health condition of Kalabakan MP Abdul Ghapur Salleh that has been made viral through the social media.

Kalabakan Umno secretary-general Mohd Ayaz Khan Yunus said its division chief was admitted to the Tawau Hospital at 9.30am today for food poisoning, and not caused by rumoured reasons such as fainting due to a heart attack.

He said following Ghapur's complaints of having stomach pains and feeling weak, he was brought to the hospital, accompanied by his wife and close family members.

Mohd Ayaz assured that Ghapur was recovering and is in stable condition.
