Azmin, Amanah shouldn't need to beg for exco posts

YOURSAY | 'The two Amanah reps should have been offered the exco posts following the fallout with PAS.'

Azmin strikes back - is Saari begging for exco post?

Ng Jooi Eing: It’s totally unbecoming of Selangor Menteri Besar Azmin Ali to make a rude statement against Selangor Parti Amanah Negara deputy chief Saari Sungib.

Azmin has forgotten that during the Kajang Move crisis, Saari and Morib assemblyperson Hasnol Baharuddin were the two honourable characters who stood with PKR and ended up being suspended by PAS.

Azmin's head has become bigger since becoming MB.

Jaguh: Azmin, don’t be so rude to Saari - he is trying to help and remind you the dangerous games you are playing with PAS.

Their leader has no credibility and PAS people are like that: when the boss says jump, they jump.

Keturunan Malaysia: Azmin, why go blazing your guns from your hip? All you need to do is to just state clearly that there is no palace politics insofar as PAS is concerned.

For now, at best, you are just sidestepping the issue.

Hplooi: Azmin is not replying to the allegations ('palace politics', 'why are you pandering to PAS', etc). He is yelling rape on allegation that one is a thief (please, this is only an analogy). This, coming from a politician, is dishonest.

Is this what we expect from our political leaders? Straight answers, please, YB. Whether true or false, the public can decide.

ConstitutionIsSupreme: Yes, Azmin, just answer the issue raised by Saari rationally and professionally.

Otherwise, you will be seen as taking revenge on Saari for foiling PAS' plan to install an Azmin-PAS state government. Period.

In fact, on the contrary, should you not be grateful to Saari for also foiling the PAS-Umno state government plan, where the MB then would have come from PAS and not you, Azmin?

RCZ: Azmin is doing an Umno by not answering the question and posing a question to the question. Right-thinking people are watching.

If you think you only need to work hard for the rural voters' support, then go ahead.

FairMind: If Azmin does not pander to palace politics, then nobody in Pakatan Harapan has to beg. The only ones that have to beg are PAS, which has proven to be the ‘musuh dalam selimut’ (enemy within).

Why should Harapan partners have to beg, while outsiders PAS have it all? Selangor should be the most suitable candidate for the snap polls to get rid of the enemy, not Penang.

Isn't it evident that someone is playing "divide and rule" to keep the opposition (Harapan) divided and weak, Azmin?

Have you forgotten these two Amanah leaders were the ones who saved Selangor and kept it together?

Korkor: Indeed, there is no need to beg for the exco post. The two Amanah assemblypersons should have been appointed excos following then Pakatan Rakyat's fallout with PAS and the formation of Pakatan Harapan.

Azmin is afraid that his shaky MB chair may fall apart and so he is hanging on to PAS. Act as a gentleman and kick out PAS and offer the two exco posts to Amanah. Be a Harapan team player rather than keep on courting the devilish PAS.

The way Azmin shot back at Saari shows he can't live without PAS, and is in fact helping PAS to try to extinguish Amanah.

Remember the Sungai Besar by-election? He shouted he would set up camp in Sungai Besar to help in the electoral campaign, but when Amanah was given the mandate to contest, he virtually disappeared. This already shows your caliber, Azmin.

Huh: Azmin, you will realise that the people who voted PKR are not behind you because of a loss of faith in you. You would do well to heed the call of the people who put you there.

I have said this many times, PKR is losing support rapidly and you are one of the major causes for that.

Ferdtan: DAP Segambut MP Lim Lip Eng, you just cannot sweep the problem under the carpet.

That is not the courage we expect of our politicians. If there is a problem - and we know there are many in Azmin’s government - get out in the open and face it.

Saari has voiced his concern and what did Azmin do in reply? We expect a MB to reply rationally and not hit below the belt. That was Unmo’s style when it ran out of logical rebuttals.

Right now, PKR with its internal problems is in hibernation, neither dead nor alive. If he doesn’t act, he would be among the shortest-term MBs. At least, former MB Abdul Khalid Ibrahim was able to retain power in the state as an incumbent MB.

Donkey Kong: This is why the opposition cannot take over Putrajaya. They have been told in no uncertain terms by the rakyat to stop the bickering, but they still persist with their nonsense.

Is it better to have a corrupt leader who could rule or a bunch of honest amateurs who can't get their act together?
