Transport Minister Liow Tiong Lai today dismissed speculations of possible suicide by MH370 pilot Captain Zaharie Ahmad, based on initial investigations by the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
Liow said that Zaharie's flight simulator records, from about one week before the Malaysia Airlines flight en route to Beijing was reported missing, was not a proof that he had committed suicide by plunging the plane somewhere in the Indian Ocean.
"It (flight simulator) is not evidence that he (Zaharie) had flown the plane using the same route.
