Terengganu Menteri Besar Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman regarded the political crisis in the state resolved and hoped no more problems would arise that could affect the state leadership in future.
He said he was relieved that today's state assembly sitting did not reflect the “hot situation” as was predicted by some quarters.
“Praise to Allah, the situation today was under control and nothing happened. The political conflict in Terengganu is resolved.
“The important thing now is for us to move forward to ensure the people’s development agenda is given priority,” he told reporters when met after the state assembly sitting.
He said what had happened made Umno and Barisan Nasional to be more prepared for the coming general election.
