The Kelantan government has banned the Pokeman Go game at all its premises.
Deputy Menteri Besar Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah said action would be taken against government servants and members of the public caught playing the Pokeman Go game at these premises.
“The main reason (for the ban) is the security factor. We have not made a decision on public areas but it is not allowed at government premises like Kompleks Kota Darul Naim and the district council offices,” he said after a state exco meeting in Kota Baru today.
The reality game, which is based on locations and developed by Niantic Incorporation of Nintendo USA, has become the craze all over the world.
It was brought into Malaysia on Aug 6.
