A total of 452,721 candidates will sit for the 2016 Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) examination to be held for five days from Sept 1 to 8.

The Education Ministry, in a statement today, said 443,677 of the candidates are from government and government-aided schools, while 9,044 others are from private schools.

A total of 8,100 examination centres will be set up nationwide and will be supervised by 51,518 invigilators, it said.

The Examinations Syndicate reminded all candidates to refer to their examination schedule and adhere to the stipulated instructions and reminders.

Candidates are also reminded to bring along their identity card to the examination centre.

The examination schedule can be downloaded from website of the Examination Board at www.moe.gov.my.
